Responsible play

18+

This service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use OddsHunter, and betting must be legal where you live.

Betting is entertainment, not income

OddsHunter is an analytics tool. It compares bookmaker odds with modelled fair prices - it does not know the future and it cannot make betting profitable for you. A positive expected-value number is an estimate, not a prediction, and it is often wrong. Measured returns on selections previously flagged by this tool have been negative.

Treat any money you stake as the cost of entertainment, the same way you would treat a cinema ticket. Do not treat betting as a source of income, a way to pay bills, or a plan to recover money you have already lost.

Simple rules that protect you

  • Never stake money you cannot afford to lose. Not rent, not savings, not borrowed money.
  • Never chase losses. Increasing your stake to win back a loss is the single most common way a bad day becomes a serious problem.
  • Set limits before you start - a deposit limit, a loss limit and a time limit - and stick to them even when you feel certain.
  • Keep a fixed bankroll and a fixed staking rule. If you find yourself overriding your own staking plan, stop for the day.
  • Take breaks. Do not bet when tired, upset, bored, or under the influence of alcohol.
  • Track what you actually stake and lose, not what you remember.
  • Use the tools your bookmaker offers - deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion.

Warning signs

Consider stopping and seeking support if you recognise any of these:

  • you bet more, or more often, than you planned;
  • you chase losses, or bet bigger to get even;
  • you borrow money, sell things, or use money meant for something else to bet;
  • you hide your betting from family or friends, or lie about it;
  • betting is affecting your sleep, mood, work, studies or relationships;
  • you feel anxious, irritable or restless when you try to cut down;
  • you cannot stop thinking about the next bet.

These are common signs of gambling harm. Recognising them early makes them much easier to deal with.

Where to get help

Free, confidential and non-commercial support is available. We are not affiliated with any of these organisations and receive nothing from them - they are listed because their help is independent and free.

  • GamCare (United Kingdom) - free support, advice and treatment for anyone affected by gambling harm: gamcare.org.uk
  • BeGambleAware (United Kingdom) - information, self-assessment and routes into free treatment: begambleaware.org
  • Gambling Therapy (international) - online support in multiple languages: gamblingtherapy.org
  • Gamblers Anonymous - peer support groups in many countries; look for the national organisation for your country.
  • Your country's national gambling helpline or public health service, and your own doctor, can also refer you to local support.

If you are in immediate distress or crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Self-exclusion

If you decide to stop betting, self-exclude directly with your bookmakers and, where one exists, through your country's national self-exclusion scheme. You can also stop using OddsHunter at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@oddshunter.pro.
